“Upward Sports”

Upward Sports is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging experience for boys and girls, in K5 through 6th grade. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sports development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of the “win at all cost” mentality associated with today’s sports world. First Calvary offers Flag Football, Soccer and Cheerleading. Son Rock Camp
Son Rock Camp originated with First Calvary 15 years ago. It is an entire week of fun and activities where children gain wonderful experiences of growing closer to Christ, growing closer to each other and growing as individuals. Our name, “SON-ROCK”, is based on the scripture passage found in Psalm 89:26,“You are my Father, My God, The Rock of my Salvation”.

The staff that work with the children are placed through background checks, interviews and training. We want your child’s experience at Son Rock to be unforgettable. Along with our Bible lessons, we offer a very wide variety of games, swimming, and many other outdoor adventures. Lambs List

A very important part of First Calvary Children's Ministry is Lambslist.  Lambslist is a check-in security system for your childs/childrens safety. First Calvary believes that the safety of your child/children is of the utmost importance. Upon arriving to the Children's area, your child will be entered into the security program. You and your child will receive a badge and the parent will receive a pager for emergency contact while on the campus. The child’s badge will have their name and a random number that will match the parent ticket for pick-up. This is a fast and easy process that ensures safety and that only the approved parent of the child can pick-up their child.

Elevate & Elevate Jr. are the fastest growing areas of the Children's ministry. It is a 2-hour fun and exciting adventure through books of the Bible. We recommend it for children ages 3-12. Every 8-weeks we change the theme and course of study to keep it even more exciting and fun. It is like Vacation Bible School (on steroids) every Sunday night from 5-7 PM. The Children will be involved with a Large Group worship session, which includes praise songs, a movie, games and a Bible story. Small groups follow the large-group lesson. The Small group time involves games, obstacle courses, hands on activities, and small group lessons that are consistent with the Large group lesson and applicable to their lives. Bring your Kids to Elevate!!!! They will beg to come back!!!
